PAST PRODUCTION

AGGELA 2010 - 2011:

It is included among plays that marked the new-greek dramatist and the most frequently performed.

The play 'AGGELA' written by the greek writter G. Sevastikoglou considered classic in Greece, taught in Drama Schools, likely often not escape from a stereotypical and picturesque reading.

The director of ASIPKA Dimitris Bitos put the actors like acrobats on slopping boards, wearing masks and accompanied by live music to create a rather cinematic reading of a classical play. The reviews speak for emergence of a live project that seemed dead for years.

'Athens, shortly after the Civil War..

A deeply political and strongly valid story written in a live language with pure characters, that starts with a suicide in  50΄decade.. and conitnues today'
